Key Stage 1 Girls’ Uniform - Winter

• Plain grey skirt or grey pinafore (‘A’ line, knee length)
• Or plain grey trousers
• Plain white polo shirt
• Navy sweat cardigan with school badge, available from uniform supplier
• Grey long socks, ankle socks or tights
• Sensible, black shoes – boots, trainers, trainer style or canvas shoes should not be worn

Key Stage 1 Girls’ Uniform – Summer

• Light blue / white gingham dress
• Navy sweat cardigan with school badge, available exclusively from uniform supplier
• White or grey short socks
• Sensible, black shoes – boots, trainers, trainer style or canvas shoes should not be worn

Key Stage 1 Boys’ Uniform – Winter and Summer

• Light grey trousers (flannel, not cord, not shiny). Grey shorts in the summer
• Plain white polo shirt
• Navy crew sweatshirt with school badge, available from uiform supplier
• Grey socks (not trainer socks)
• Sensible black shoes - boots, trainers, trainer style or canvas shoes should not be worn

Key Stage 1 Boys’ and Girls’ PE Kit

• Plain white t-shirt
• Navy blue plain shorts
• White socks
• Black plimsolls (for indoor use)
• Trainers (for outdoor use)

In addition to the above KS1 Boys and Girls' Winter PE Kit can include any of the following (optional):

• Plain navy blue jumper (not school uniform jumper)
• Navy blue tracksuit bottoms

There is a uniform change when the children enter into Key Stage 2.  The uniform change is to show their increasing maturity and to begin to reflect the secondary uniform.

• Plain grey skirt or grey pinafore
• Plain white shirt
• School tie, available from uniform supplier
• Navy v-neck cardigan with logo, available from uniform supplier
• Grey long socks, ankle socks or tights
• Sensible, black shoes – boots, trainers, trainer style or canvas shoes should not be worn
• Students may wear a navy or black headscarf

• Light blue / white gingham dress

• Swimming shorts or one piece swimming costume (navy blue or black)
• Swimming hat and towel
• Swim goggles (optional but desirable)

• Plain navy blue jumper (not school uniform jumper)
• Navy blue tracksuit bottoms

Jewellery - The only jewellery permitted in school are plain gold/silver stud in the lower lobes. Analogue watches are permitted.

Hair - Hair should be kept clean and tidy and must not be worn in any extreme style or have an appearance inconsistent with traditional good standards of uniform. We realise that this can be interpreted differently according to culture and ethnicity and are happy to accept and value all kinds of smart as long as these are consistent with the headteacher’s final judgement. We follow the Halo Code. If worn short, hair may have a gradual fade but should not be stepped or a grade 0 at any point. If short hair is worn the same length all over it may be no shorter than grade 2.  Hair should be of a natural colour. No patterns or tramlines should be shaved into the hair or the eyebrows. Long hair (below shoulder length) should be fastened or tied back. Hair ornaments should not be worn. Hair bands/hijabs must be plain and either black, white or navy.

Other items required in school:

Water Bottle - Please send your child into school with a full, named bottle of water every day.

Strong waterproof sports bag or rucksack - The children require a strong waterproof sports bag or rucksack not ‘handbag’ style for PE kit.

Change of clothes (EYFS & KS1 only)  - We encourage creative and sometimes messy or wet play.  We understand ‘accidents’ can happen.  Please ensure a named change of clothes are kept in school for such incidents.

Wet weather clothing - Children will also need to have some wet weather clothes and wellies to allow them to play outside irrespective of the weather.  Please leave these in school so your child can use them as necessary.
